300 years - A pastime that transcends the ages
Welcome!
Tachibana, the town where the Nagoya Antique Market (N.A.M.) is held, has a long history in antiquing. All the way back in the Edo period, Tachibana was the town granted exclusive rights to sell antiques and old ironware by the Owari Tokugawa Clan.
In the over 300 years since then, over 100 antique shops have sprung up in Tachibana, selling not only domestic antiques, but also goods from the US, Europe, and all over the world. You can find anything from antiques and vintage goods from the Showa-Heisei period up to second hand clothing.
So come and enjoy the pastime that transcends the ages! Twice a year - In April and November!
