Is it possible to enter the grounds of the Higashi Betsuin Temple without participating in the Nagoya Antique Market?A
Yes, visitors to the Higashi Betsuin Temple, e.g. worship or other business, may still enter the temple grounds.
* However, if you are not wearing a wristband you will not be allowed to visit any of the stores.

How do I enter the venue?A
Before opening hours, please line up at one of the ticket desks.
The ticket desks will open one hour before the event starts. Please refrain from coming earlier than this time, as it may cause inconvenience to the Higashi Betsuin Temple and the neighborhood.
Same-day tickets will be available after the event begins.
*Depending on the queueing situation, the start may be pushed to an earlier time at the venue’s discretion.

How do I enter if I have already purchased a presale ticket?A

Until the opening of the event, please line up at the dedicated reception desk for presale ticket holders in front of the Sanmon Main Gate. Please present your digital ticket screen in order to receive a wristband. With your wristband you will be able to enter the venue after the event starts.
*Depending on the queueing situation, the start may be pushed to an earlier time at the venue’s discretion.

Is a wristband required?A
Please be sure to wear the wristband to participate in the event. Even if you do not make any purchases, visitors who are not wearing a wristband will not be allowed to enter any booths.
*Minors (including high school students) and those over 70 years of age may enter for free (High school students and older must show ID at the reception desk).

Will alcohol be available?A
The sale and consumption of alcohol is forbidden within the venue.
However, alcohol will be sold at the partner event [Soko Market], which is held nearby.

Is parking available?A
There is a free parking lot to the south west of the venue, however please understand that space is limited. Please refer to the event map to find the parking lot.
In case the free parking lot is full, please refrain from lining up along the road, but rather use nearby toll parking instead.
By direction of the local police, any parking violations found may be reported to the police.

Are nursing rooms available?A
Nursing rooms are available at the worshippers’ reception and the Higashi Betsuin Kaikan Hall.

Is smoking allowed?A
Outside of the designated areas smoking is strictly prohibited.
Smoking areas can be found next to the Higashi Betsuin Main Hall and in front of the Higashi Betsuin Kaikan Hall. You can find the Higashi Betsuin Kaikan HaLl directly when exiting the venue via the Middle Gate.

Where can I get a presale ticket?A
Presale tickets may be purchased at the NAM online shop. The presale period for NAM 13th will be from 11.01 to 11.24.

Loading goodsA
If you are parking in a remote paid parking lot and have purchased large or large quantities of items, you may leave the items at the vendor’s booth and request a parking permit from the main booth. This will allow you to park at the loading zone within the event venue. For the location of the loading zone, please check the event map.
Please note that you are not allowed to park there for any other reason than loading goods.

Cancellation of the eventA
The event will be held rain or shine.
The event may however be canceled in the event of unsafe weather conditions.
In the event of a cancellation, an announcement will be made by 12:00 p.m on the day before the event on the relevant social media accounts and the website.
Please note that presale tickets will not be refunded if the event is canceled, regardless of when they have been purchased or if they have already been redeemed.

Will trash cans be available?A
There are no trash cans at the venue. Please return food and beverage containers to the store where you bought them. Please take your own trash with you.
We have noticed many manner violations such as leaving trash in the restrooms or other trash in the vending machine trash cans. Please refrain from such behavior!

Are pets allowed?A
Please refrain from walking your pet within the venue. Please keep your pet in a cart or dedicated carrying bag at all times.

Visitors and vendors may wear a mask at their own discretion.

Please refrain from making inquiries about the Nagoya Antique Market to the venue (The Higashi Betsuin Temple).
We will not be able to respond to inquiries by direct message or e-mail during the event.

Regarding the consumption of food and beveragesA
A food area with tables and chairs will be set up within the event venue.
It is forbidden to consume food while sitting on the stairs of the Main Temple Hall.

Regarding the Soko MarketA
The special partner event [Soko Market] will require a wristband to enter until 16:00. After 16:00 you will no longer be required to wear a wristband to enter the Soko Market venue.

The special events Retro Market and Green Market will both be held at the Higashi Betsuin Kaikan Hall, which requires a wristband to enter. Even if you are not making any purchases, you are not allowed to enter any of the stores without a wristband.
